Meet our team

We have a team of passionate local and traveling surf instructors. We will share our passion with you and you will leave surfing much better than when you arrived, that’s for sure :). Our instructors can coach you from absolute beginner to advanced surfer, all along.
All our instructors are certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (FPS) or by the International Surfing Association (ISA).
Not happy with that, we constantly update them and retrain them with the latest advances in surf instructing theory and practice. You may not be aware of it but is a very dynamic field.
It makes us laugh when we compare current boards and methodology with what was considered the best practices only ten years ago. The school head instructor and the school owner, both have an additional certification to be able to coach effectively the certified surf instructors in our team, one of them is always on duty whenever our surf school is open. Yes, Portugal has gone a long way in a very short time, in a matter of a few years of very hard work to catch up with the best, now we can proudly say that we have world-class surf instruction, and we look in the eye of Australian or American surf schools, the long-time undisputed world leaders.
